Amphenol has the ability to offer complete embedded computing interconnect solutions across subsystems like: software-defined radio, signal intelligence, beamforming and radar. Most recently, SV Microwave has collaborated with sister Amphenol divisions to design a plug-in/chassis example that showcases Amphenol’s complete range of offerings and our ability to transmit RF, fiber and discrete signals throughout a system.
In addition to SV’s RF/fiber hybrid VITA modules, components and cable assemblies, Amphenol Aerospace is including its RVPX backplane and plug-in connectors, which are VITA 46 compliant. Amphenol Fiber Systems International has included its fiber patch cords, while Amphenol Active Optics Products is providing the onboard optical transceiver. The resulting plug-in and chassis reduces size, weight and power by combining all these features into a modular and scalable solution.
